What to do?

Itinerarios

It is possible to pre-register for one of the guided tours that the park carries out on the island of Sálvora through National Parks reservation center as long as any of the calls are open.

We will also be able to find a self-guided itinerary using panels on the way that will take us from the pier to the island's lighthouse (not open to the public). This itinerary has the title: "A walk of legend through Sálvora" and covers the path to the lighthouse showing the natural and cultural wealth of this beautiful island through its legends.

Remember that for reasons of safety and conservation, the visit to the village of Sálvora can only be carried out in the company of guides authorized by the National Park, either staff from the national park or authorized shipping companies.

How should we prepare for the visit?

A visit to Sálvora does not leave you indifferent, since upon arriving there you have the impression of stepping on uninhabited land and almost virgin nature.

Whether we contract the visit with a shipping company and a guide or we do it by private boat, we must know that we have to take everything we need with us, since there are no shops or hotel services on this island. It is essential to bring water (there are no sources of water with sanitary treatment) and some food in case of a stay of several hours.

Also keep in mind that there is hardly any shade on the island because its vegetation is low, so you must be equipped with a hat and sun protection, and a parasol if you want to eat or lie on the beach.

It is advisable to inquire about the opening of the public toilets before making the visit.
