Accessibility

Persons with disabilities have the right to live independently and to participate fully in all aspects of life. To this end, the necessary measures must be taken to ensure universal accessibility, on an equal basis with other people in places, services, transportation, information, including information systems and technologies and facilities open to the public, both in urban and rural areas, as provided in Article 22 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2013, Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Social Inclusion.

The Park has implemented several measures aimed at universal accessibility such as sections with improved flooring, preparation and loan of support materials for various functional cases: maps and information in Braille, availability of crutches and amphibious chairs for use on beaches, loan of wheelchairs and Joëlette, use of pictograms to provide information, application of easy reading criteria in informative materials, etc.
