O The National Parks Autonomous Agency of the Ministry offers 3 lines of grants: 

• Research programme in the National Park Network: Grants for carrying out scientific research projects in the National Parks Network.

For the first time, and within the framework of the 2024 Environmental Sustainability Education Action Plan's work programme, the National Parks Network research programme foresees a new priority line on environmental education processes for sustainability, interpretation, innovative participation and awareness in the National Park Network. Application submission period from 1 April 2024 to 6 May 2024, 14:00 hours

Research should be related to one or more of the national parks included in the National Park Network.

The grant per project cannot exceed € 175,000 €.

Aid will be granted through a competitive procedure.

• National Park Network Volunteer Programme: Calls for grants for volunteer projects.

• Grants in the areas of socio-economic influence. The National Parks Network allocates part of its budget to provide aid to institutions and individuals integrated within the boundaries of National Parks, or their areas of socio-economic influence, as compensation for the limitations of use implied in the protection of such spaces, as defined in the Use and Management Plans. This financial aid, regulated by an annual call, is mainly intended for the improvement of infrastructure, cultural and social activities and the creation of local level employment. The processing, resolution and payment of grant amounts are the responsibility of the competent body in each autonomous region.
