Visitor centres

For those non-profit groups that want to take a guided tour of the visitor centers, this visit can be arranged with the Park's own team of guides through the activity request form.

The Atlantic Islands Visitor Centre

It is located in a historic building located in the old town of the city of Vigo, from where it is about showing the natural and cultural values ​​of the Atlantic islands in a very artistic way with the intention of moving us to this unique protected space.

Those who visit this center before going to the islands will have a preview of the wealth  of the islands and will be able to collect information and advice for greater enjoyment and use of your stay on the islands.

Winter hours (from October 1st to  May 14th except Holy Week)

                                           Monday to Thursday 10am-2pm

                                           Friday and Saturday 10am-2pm / 4.30pm-7.30pm

                                           Closed on Sundays and holidays.

                                           * Weekdays from 10am-12pm preferential attention to school groups.

Ons Island Visitor Centre

Located in the building that housed the school, in the Curro neighborhood, at the entrance to the island, its exhibition focuses on the way of life, customs and traditions of the inhabitants of this archipelago.

It usually opens in the afternoons in high season.

 

Cíes Islands Visitor Centre

Located in an old artillery warehouse, on the ruins of the old monastery of Sto. I was It is on Faro Island, 1km from the port, and can be accessed by walking along the Faro de Cíes Lighthouse route. Its exhibition focuses on the different ecosystems of the National Park.

It usually opens in the afternoons in high season.

 

Exhibition of the Pazo de Salvora

In the Almacén palace, an old saltworks, in the vicinity of the pier, there are ethnographic pieces recovered from the village of Sálvora and the palace itself, as well as a display of shells and other traces of the island's fauna. The room is usually open all year round.
