Itineraries
There is the possibility of being able to pre-register for one of the guided tours that the park does sporadically on the island of Cortegada through National Parks reservation center as long as any of the calls are open.
On the island of Cortegada we will be able to find a self-guided itinerary using an interpretive brochure (can be ordered at the information booth) that will take us around the circular route of the island. This itinerary is entitled: "A walk through Cortegada: the medicine of the sea" and covers the path that surrounds the island showing its natural and cultural wealth.

Other activities
You can dive or "snorkel" in any of the bathing areas. It is advisable to take a simple neoprene as the waters are around 15 degrees in the summer. Consult the information points for the loan of marine species guides, company contacts, information on the best areas...
In the case of using a lead belt, it is necessary to request permission from dive in advance.

How should we prepare the visit?
The visit to Cortegada entails entering a woodland that seems to touch the sea. Whether booking the visit and guide with a shipping company or planning a visit by private boat, we must remember to carry everything we need, since there are no shops or catering services on the island. Do bring water (there are no potable water sources) and some food in case you plan to stay for several hours.
