Accessibility

People with disabilities have the right to live independently and participate fully in all aspects of life. To this end, the necessary measures must be taken to ensure universal accessibility, on an equal basis with others, in environments, services, transport, information, including information systems and technologies, and facilities open to the public, both in urban and rural areas, according to Article 22 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2013, Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Social Inclusion.

The Park implemented various measures aimed at universal accessibility, such as the construction of improved surface sections, the development and loan of support materials for various functional needs: maps and information in Braille, the availability of crutches and amphibious chairs for use on the beach, the loan of wheelchairs and Joëlettes, the use of pictograms to provide information, and the application of easy-to-read criteria in informational materials.
